“Visited on 16th May 2019. Came away with plenty of new beers from Shropshire, Wales and Wye Valley (Herefordshire). Funny sort of supermarket with aging staff, beer shelves loaded in a random way with no plan or system. It took me three wanders around to find all the selection such was the chaotic layout. Good value and well worth the time if you are in the area or passing through.“

“Visited 11/2/2019. BlackHaddock tipped us off about this place and we weren’t disappointed. Good sized independent supermarket with a large alcohol section which included a great selection of beers. Our focus on local beers was well served, with a good range from Shropshire and surrounding counties. Very keenly priced, with multi-buy offers too. Definitely recommended place to visit to raid the shelves - we came away with 50 bottles!“

“Great supermarket with one of the best supermarket selections of beer I have ever seen. We walked out with around 40 new mostly local beers. Easily worth a detour if you’re looking for local ticks and have not done all the local ones already.“

“This is a small family-owned supermarket on the main A49 route through Shropshire that has recently started to expand its beer and wine section to accommodate more independent producers. If supplies are low I would definitely nip in (also a great chippie over the road too). Expect a bountiful selection of regional delights from Hobsons, Salopian, Woods etc.. plus what seems to be Thornbridge’s entire range and some cans from Beavertown, Moor and Dark Star all at ridiculously low prices. BIG cider selection so expect dunkertons, Ludlow Clee Hill, some lesser-spotted Westons, Newton Court, Abrahalls and a few from further afield. Plus there’s a good wine selection too. Not a bad stop-off.“
