UPDATED: MAR 3, 2024 Bardzo ciemne bordo. Piana duża, beżowa, daje efekt akustyczny i zanika. Aromat gorzkiej czekolady i palonej kawy. Podobnie w smaku. Przeszkadza jednak zbyt wysoka kwaśność. Poza tym jest wszystko ok. Paloność, kawa, czekolada goryczka. Niewiele piw z tego browaru piłem – głównie kooperacje z Pintą – to chyba jest najsłabsze.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2024 440ml can from Craft Central, drunk at a lodge in the Wicklow Mountains. Pours an oily black, creamy tan head. Welcoming roasty vanilla nose, strong roasted malt on initial sip, super smooth, revealing vanilla latte suggestions. Quite flavoursome and rich. Like it.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2023 Praticamente voto massimo in quanto la ricordo come una delle migliori birre mia assaggiare. Perfetto bilanciamento in bocca tra le note dei malti, il tostato e l’amaro finale. Al naso oltre alle classiche note di stout è più intenso il cacao e la vaniglia. Corpo medio e finale leggermente secco. Intensa il giusto e persistente. Un piacere per il palato.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2023 Lattina. Un arco olfattivo dominato da caffè, cioccolato e vaniglia. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine, con qualche bollicina grande. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio in buona armonia con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso Sul palato si fermano sentori di miele, crosta di panettone, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca, agrumi e vaniglia.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2023 440ml Can from Beers of Europe. Inky black with a huge tan head of foam. It has a rich liquorice and plum flavour with chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, vanilla, leather, oak and smooth chocolate and berries on the warming finish. Excellent!
