UPDATED: MAY 2, 2024 Golden yellow pour, touch haze, steady but thin head. Nose is grain and herbs. Middle is strong herbal hops, light kilned grain, touch floral, wet grass. Finish is hoppy with some length.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2024 Decent pilsner. Very different. Aroma had a lot of banana. Almost smelled like here. Pour was a light gold with lots of very small sediment with a thin off white ring for a head. Taste was good. Not great. Not a lot of flavor in the front. The banana was gone but nothing replaced it. Nice hoppiness in the middle and the finish. Mild carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2024 Draft at Old Chicago. Hazed golden, white head. Aroma of grass, grains, spice. Taste was mild sweet, peppery spice, subtle grain.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2024 Well, hell. Wasn’t expecting this to be a good idea, but damned if Rogue didn’t nail it with this pils. Grassy and bright, with a understated fruity sweetness supporting the crisp pils front. Finishes more ale-like than a traditional pils, without a pronounced floral bitterness, but the clean, slightly sweet fade is nice. Good pint.

Reid (3533) - Salem, Oregon, USA - NOV 11, 2023
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2023 12 oz can poured into my Leffe glass. Part of a six pack from Safeway in West Salem OR. $11.99. Poured the coloration is traditional. Sunshine ,hay yellow. Lovely carbonation. Small bubbly head. Nice amount of lace. Aromas of noble hops and biscuity malts...maybe a little on the malty side. But it's nice. Taste very nice. It's rather balanced but as a pilsner the hops do cut through and give a nice sharp hop zing. Nice. Lovely drinkable mouth feel. Well carbonated yet not tin. Excellent feel. Surprisingly a very nice traditional German pilsner.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2023 A big, big surprise for a brewer that always seems to be blasting out big flavors and this one is far more subtle. Grass and corn in the aroma. Lightly bitter taste and finish, that gets drier the longer it goes. A very nice beer.

troopie (5283) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - JUL 20, 2023
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2023 Light cloudy gold pour with a thin fast dissipating white head. Malty aroma, light Dead Guy bock but not nearly as strong. Malty full taste with hop stripes and an edge. At Katie O'Brien's. It's rare to see a Rogue draught not at a Rogue place.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2023 7/9/23 - Maumelle, Ar - Lake Liquor - 12 oz can. Slight fogginess to the otherwise sparkling light golden pour., Nice film of a snow-white head, great lacing. Buttery aroma, hints of grain. Bready flavor, some honey sweetness, touch of grain. Crisp, dry mouthfeel.

fidelis83 (3789) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - JUN 23, 2023
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2023 Slightly hazy gold pour with a one finger white head. Aroma of floral, citrus, grass, light sweet bread and cereal. Flavor is sweet floral and citrus, a little spicy, light breadiness. Light body, slightly slick, mostly dry. Pretty good, a little weird for the style though.

Fatehunter (4022) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - MAY 22, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2023 Slightly hazy light straw body with a couple fingers of head. Aroma is bright grapefruit and yeast. Taste is mild tropical sweet, short citrus bitter, a mild pine resin finish. Texture is crisp and fizzy. Enjoyable.
