UPDATED: APR 15, 2024 in Barbados, did not care for this one. felt like a poor pale lager with perhaps some sun damage. not great.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2023 Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the big Tesco. Pours clear pale yellow with minimal white foam head. Lightly sweet, vegetal, some skinny cabbage, a little cereal, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, touches of husky bitterness, more cabbage, straw. Not terrible.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2023 My Stag Lager came from Grenada. The head was medium stable. Flavour malty but light, a bit biscuity. The taste is malty , crisp, but mild and a bit watery. Helps against the Grenada Heat.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2023 Aroma is grassy, taste malty and slightly sweet. Not unpleasant at all, very nice.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2023 Better than banks ! Serve ice cold. Sampled in Barbados , the land of lager !! Must remember to take a case of IPA in future !

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2022 Bottle at Castara Retreats, Tobago. Bright gold in colour, a bit chemical in smell, but relatively smooth and malty. OK when cold.

UPDATED: JUN 25, 2022 Clear pale gold, no head. Faint aroma of hay. Taste is undemanding lager, on the sweet side, slightly lemony. Refreshing, but bland.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2022 275ml bottle from Olumo Continential Foods, Darlington. Pale yellow gold colour, thin white foam head and aroma of corn grains, drains, cardboard. Taste is grainy, corn, papery, cardboard with some metallic bitterness. Light bodied, high carbonation, dry bland finish. Not the best.
