Ungstrup (51301) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 9, 2015Bottled. A unclear golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of pepper, spices, and berries. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, strong peppers, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish.
CaptainTilven (202) - Nancy, FRANCE - AUG 28, 2015Dark amber colour; cloudy; fine light beige foam that quickly fades down. Smells of coffee, caramel, and also something vegetal. Bitterness, sourness, sweetness, spices all together. Elegant though cheeky.
PriorL (3067) - Gent, BELGIUM - JAN 3, 2015Sample at Vini Birri, shared with Mathieu87 and 77ships.
APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, small unstable white head.
NOSE: gingerbread, peper.
TASTE: pepper, yeasty. Not really my thing.
77ships (14200) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - DEC 8, 2014750 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2014. Golden, bubbles on the side. Mildly milky yeast nose, spices. Taste is yeasty, milky with spices, kitchen spices,… Yeasty body. Another beer that is just way too dominated by yeast for me even if there is nothing particularily wrong with it.
sebletitje (11868) - Bruxelles, BELGIUM - DEC 7, 2014Bottle sample @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli ’14, Bruxelles.
