Brokkie (1023) - - JAN 14, 2024
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2024 Een heel fijn bruin bier, deze van Lupulus uit België. Met zijn 8% alcohol lekker stevig. Flink moutig, kruidig en een piepklein zoetje.

maekchu (5670) - JAPAN - NOV 25, 2023
UPDATED: NOV 25, 2023 Bottle from Liquor Mountain hop in Shiga. Dark redddish/brown color, translucent at edges, and a substantial tan head. Roast malt aroma, with a fermented and somewhat pungent raisins and prunes. Also, a light coffee note is evident. Mildly sweet initial, and that intensifies into mid palate. Fruity, but then also ashy, and then it really takes a dive and flattens out. The body is a bit watery after mid palate. Some alcohol warmth. My YouTube review of this one is right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcdsYW-3qHM

johndoughty (7983) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2023
UPDATED: NOV 15, 2023 Came in a 75 cl bottle. Lovely brown appearance with a medium body and a medium head that stayed throughout the time spent drinking it. Smooth and easy to drink. It would be very easy to forget this beer's strength-its quite deceptive. No real dominating flavour although there is a gentle nutiness with traces of caramel. Good touching on excellent.

MiP (20009) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 27, 2022
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2022 Bottle, 8.5%. The aroma is slightly metallic with some dark sugar and malt syrup notes. Dark red brown colour, seems hazy and has a touch of red or chestnut. Semi-stable light brown head. The flavour starts off quite sweet with high carbonation and decent mouthfeel. Turns nicely nutty and ends drier with a fairly clean bitterness.
