Gamla anteckningar.

Förvarad i kylskåp sedan köp. Har inte åldrats väl direkt. Illa diskvatten i doft. Smakar som en spritig barleywine.

courtesy of Per - cloudy copper-orange beer with no foam left; aroma of caramel and prune with some apparent alcohol; full-bodied and very thick, very sweet; solid bitterness yet overwhelmed by tons of residual sugars; long aftertaste of prune and apricots and a heavy alcohol kick - not for me

Sampled at SBWF11 Yellow. No head. Vry vinous and rather sweet. No bitterness.

Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2011. Clear golden beer with a offwhite head. Hoppy, citrus, fruity aroma. Hoppy, sweet flavour. Very nice one :-)

Bottle 33cl, pours a dark orange-red without any real foam. This one I tried a couple of months ago at a Friday pub at Sigtuna Brygghus, I didn’t love it - not at all! Upon it’s release at systembolaget i bought 2 bottles. one was consumed right away - with the same result as priviously. But now - a couple of months later (stored in my beerclosset) - has it increased in loveability? I’d say so, not significantly - but definitly better. Sweet candy - still slitghtly wineous but I think the rest has done it well!

joergen (41418) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 11, 2012
Bottle at Ungstrup. Clear amber coloured with a small white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and alcohol with notes of hops. Fruity flavour of caramel, hops and alæcohol. Burning alcoholic finish. Too alcoholic.

Papsoe (25039) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2012
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a clear amber with a smallish off-white head. Booze dominates the aroma - and some caramel. Very solid body, lowish carbonation, again heavy caramel and massive booze. A very unrefined DIPA where the hops aren’t really allowed to shine. Just a booze craze. 090212
