UPDATED: JAN 3, 2023 Cask-conditioned at the Posset Cup (JDW), Portishead 3 January 2023. Golden in colour with a slight, white, head that left plenty of lacing down the glass. A touch of citrus hops, crisp rich tea malts, some citrus fruit sweetness, green herbs and a dryish finish. Good.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2023 1. Cask Handpump at Penny Black, Northwich 23/12/2021 Hoppy aroma. White head. Golden coloured hoppy and citrus flavoured. Smooth on the palate with hints of dryness and bitterness in a slightly pale malt finish. 2. Cask Handpump at Penny Black, Northwich 29/11/2022 Fruity hop aroma. Large white head. Light golden coloured and a little hazy in appearance. Hoppy and citrus flavoured with hints of bitterness and dryness in a creamy malt finish.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2022 Cask pint at the Assembly Rooms, Epsom. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, slightly off. Thin malt taste. Thin bitter finish. Maybe past its best.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2022 [Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a scattering of white head; aroma of bitter herbs; fresh herbal taste, perhaps coriander and mint; then a dry biscuity malt finish with a lasting bitterness. Rather good.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2020 1/2 pint (4.3%) by hand pump on 21 Jan 2020: grassy, yeasty aroma, hazy golden, thin white head, irregular spots of lacing, grassy, fruity flavour, some lime, oily, soft carbonation.

Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, spicy, coriander, cardamom. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120119]

Deep blonde in flavour and texture, but this also gives it its overbearing taste.
