Black-brown in colour with a massive tan head (guess someone treated the bottle not the way you are supposed to...). On the nose aromas of barnyard, roasted malt, toffee and light bitter chocolate notes develop. Fizzy fading away into a slick bit watery texture with a medium-full body. The taste is light sweet and light bitter-sour. The finish is medium and lasts mainly on the center of the palate.

Cask conditioned handpump Mr Foleys Leeds 02/05/12. A black beer with a nice whitish head. Roasty coffee and a little sour mash in the nose. Very fruity in the mouth and also very dry. More coffee and pronounced bitterness. It lacks body but does have good flavours.

Cask at NWAF, 2012 A bit on the thin side perhaps but all the flavours are there, roast barley, coffee and some floral hops bringing a bitter edge. Very nice.
