UPDATED: NOV 7, 2019 Essential aroma, caramel, singed sugar. Dark brown with a slight white foam. The taste is powdered sugar, a lot of esters. The aftertaste is a bit alcoholic. The body is dense, carbonation is small.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2019 Seriously boozy. This Is almost port and needs to be treated and drank as such in a small sippy glass. Head dissipates quickly. Taste of burnt smokey caramel toffee coffee toast. Most expensive beer I have ever purchased. It's nice but I won't be in a rush to buy another it's just too boozy and I like my strong Belgians more than anything else.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2019 Vintage 2013. Donkeramber met rode schijn. Off-white schuimkraag die langzaamaan inzakt. Mooie volle neus, ietwat houterig. Rozijnen, dadels, pruimen. Mooie milde bitter in de afdronk. Genietersbier.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2019 Rum BA - copper amber pour from the bottle. Pretty strong alcohol and barrel, but mostly complimentary to the zesty yeast and plum and heavy malt. Oddly said stout on the bottle :)

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2019 Bottle at home. Beautiful murky reddish amber beer, creamy light beige head. Nicely sweet toffee, caramel malty notes, dried fruits, porto, molasses, a bit oaky dry/lightly bitter. Sadly cardboard too, especially on the nose, which settles a bit as it breaths; still just over the aging-hill. Okay linger. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation, good body.

Pite z tapa w Billie's Beer Kafeteria w Antwerpii. Wersja 2016. Fajne, rodzynkowe, owocowe, drozdze, słodko. Trochę wykleja, alkohol ładnie ukryty.

Aus der Flasche (2013) im 2015-11 getrunken. Die 2 Jahre Kellerlagerung hat diesen dunklen Traum rund und süffig gemacht. So liebe ich diesen Bierstil. Wieder ein Spitzenbier aus dem Hause De Struise.

Sabores maltas y caramelos ligeramente tostados gran sensación alcohólica. Seco amargo suave final más menos duradero. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna
