Pours a cloudy dark gold, with a white head. Aroma of hops. Taste is slightly bitter, lots of hop flavor. This is a solid IPA, thumbs up.

Super hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a rich, three centimetre tall tan head and a very chewy, glowing amber and copper tint - nice and dense looking. Aroma of metal, light hops, earthy malt, caramel and a bit of nuts - nothing too strong here, but the hops are evident. Medium-bodied; Assertive nutty and malty flavours at first with a light caramel sweetness and some subdued hop bitterness throughout. Aftertaste shows about the same as the initial flavours - no resounding complexities or punch throughout the beer. Overall, a decent IPA with some maltier and nutty flavours, this definitely isn’t a west coast IPA, but points do go to the best can in the world - a tall boy, with the full pry-off cap, that doubles as a drinking vessel - amazing. I sampled this sixteen ounce large-opening can purchased from Everyday IGA in Great Falls, Montana on 22-June-2016 for US$8,49 / four pack, sampled at home in Washington on 03-October-2016 a few hours before leaving back for North Dakota!

Can shared by beerboxer. Pours cloudy gold with a thick off-white head and sort of a skunky malt aroma There is a funky bitter malt flavor that has obviously gone bad.

Pours a cloudy amber from a can. Aroma is slightly metallic and citrusy with some caramel notes. Flavor similar, somewhat unbalanced and weird. Meh.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2016 First rating much higher. Thinking they may have some control issues (or distribution). The flavor was a bit tinny and inconsistent. Below average. First rating 4.3 A mix of malt and hops in the aroma. Nice cloudy orange appearance. The flavor is mostly hoppy with some malt and a slightly disappointingly thin finish. Still overall blue a solid IPA

Poured from cool riptop can into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a hazed, deep golden-orange color with a huge head of fizzy off white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma hits you with a great showing of a grapefruit citrus hop smell which has some sweeter citrus fruit (tangerine and orange) aromas mixed within. Along with these citrus based aromas comes some light bready smells as well as a moderate showing of a pine aroma, overall producing a rather smooth and present smell. Taste – The taste begins with a bready flavor mixed with a rather strong showing of a grapefruit hop. As the taste advances it initially sweetens as some orange and tangerine as well as a little bit of apricot fruit work their way onto the tongue. All the while the grapefruit, gets even more potent in nature and brings with it some other hop tastes of pine and earth. With the sweeter flavors losing power at the end of the taste, and all the hop increasing theirs, one is left with a somewhat crisp mixed hoppy flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The beer is medium bodied with a rather mid-level carbonation. For the mix of danker and citrus hop as well as the bready and the sweeter flavors that are there at times in the flavor profile, the feel is rather nice and creates a rather easy sipping IPA. Overall – I very much enjoyed this brew. It has a very nice blend of hops balanced by a good level of malt and some lighter sweet flavors. Quite nice.

Purchased at the Cooke City General Store and enjoyed in beautiful Silver Gate, MT. Cool full pop-top lid on 16 oz. can. Pours a deep gold color with a rich foamy head. Aroma is full of pine and citrus with hints of bread. Favor is initially sweet and malty with some caramel and hints of vanilla before a good long bitter finish. Very rich and tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
