Aroma is yeast toffee and old hops. Flavor is somewhat similar to nose, much more bitter than sweet; bitterness coming from probably the yeast or maybe the hops. Body’s affected by strong bitterness negatively. Medium length bitter finish.

Koelschtrinker (28835) - Brewver-Town, GERMANY - JUL 18, 2016
Heller, leicht alkoholischer Antrunk. Trocken herb, geringfügig hopfig. Wenig würzig, zunehmend bitter, erfrischend. Langer bitterer Nachhall. Rund. 11/11/11/11/7/11

bubbleflubber (2249) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - JUN 20, 2015
Pours hazy deep brick-amber into the glass, with a huge foamy head that leaves thick, chunky lacing. The nose is of caramel and toffee candies. Flavors are of caramel, biscuit, a touch of citrus peel and flour, and finishes with a lingering biscuit/flour. The mouthfeel is satiating with a medium body and smooth palate with soft carbonation. Decently complex, a nice example of lagering the brew in lieu of the other ale offerings in the series.

Draft. Don’t know if it was a mispour but this tasted liek rhubarb, interesting for a lager i guess.

Cloudy yellow pour. Aroma of spice, yeast and apple. Taste is light, straw, yeast, citrus and spice. Very interesting. Not overwhelming but good. Would like to try others.

Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours amber, fizzier than the rest. Sweet toffee, again quite bitter.
