COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspiration for our newest Hop Patrol IPA comes from the House of Faun in Pompeii, Italy. At this site, some of the world’s most famous mosaics were preserved under layers of ash after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Just as Mount Vesuvius preserved the complex mosaics of Pompeii, this single-hop IPA preserves the luxurious taste of the Mosaic hop.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2023 Sessioned some 16 oz. cans at a local watering hole in Georgia. Pours pale gold with a substantial sudsy white head. As soon as the tab is popped you catch a strong whiff of tropical citrus aromas. Mango and pineapple are prevalent in the mix. Big fruity burst. Melon, passion fruit, guava. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Quite tasty, fruity IPA. What it lacks in a/bv it makes up for in taste.

snowcrash000 (2268) - Cologne, GERMANY - DEC 26, 2022
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2022 Pours a cloudy, golden amber coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus, tropical hops, with notes of grapefruit and mago, as well as just a hint of pine coming through as well. Taste is an excellent balance of biscuity malt and fruity, slightly floral, herbal and resinous hops, with citrus, tropical and berry notes of grapefruit, orange, mango, pineapple and blueberry, as well as some pine coming through as well. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some grapefruit, mango and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation. This makes for a great single-hopped IPA that showcases the variety of Mosaic very nicely with its citrus, tropical and berry notes, as well as floral, herbal and resinous accents, while finishing with a good bitterness. The zesty citrus notes stand out the most to me here, with some sweeter tropical notes and hints of blueberry. The light sweetness from the malts and tropical fruits is balanced very nicely against the more zesty, bitter and resinous notes here as well, making for quite an enjoyable, classic American IPA.
