My Bottom Line:
White wine and white peppercorns meet honeyed cereals, pears and flowers in this complex rustic ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam decorates the misty golden.
-The white wine character is like a buttery Chardonnay (pedio probably contributes here).
-Leafy hop bitterness balances out the finish.
-Brettanomyces allusions are found within.
-Had zero expectations for this one and it came out absolutely excellent!

Bottle from 2013.

June 12, 2015 - with blankboy, jercraigs and mabel - bomber. Hazy light gold with some tiny floaties and huge diminishing white frothy head. Smells like a really grainy tripel - floral, sweet, a bit boozy. Taste is floral, with sweet pear malt, some alcohol ... and brett? Airy, a little astringent, a little more dry funk in the finish.

APPEARANCE- golden color, perfectly clear and little head with largish bubbles. NOSE- smells slightly sour with a touch of sweetness. FLAVOR- mostly brett, some sour in the flavor. More sour in the nose than in the taste. NOTES- Extremely nice beer. It’s hard for me to put words on sours, and especially the odd flavors brought into the beer from the wild strains.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with thick white head leaving stick lacing. The aroma a strong brett, funk, spice. Medium mouth, fruity, brett, oak, light dry finish, very good.

Bottle shared downtown during RBWG 2014 - Asheville Late-Nite. Cheers! Pours hazy yellow with a creamy, white head. Moderate brett in the nose, mellow melon. Light sweet flavor with good poopy brett notes, light citrus, a little grassy bitterness. Light in body with average carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish with more forward brett character, funk, diaper and poo. Solid funky number.

[7290-20150612] 500mL bottle. Mild grassy yeast aroma. Clear, pale orange body with a quick foamy white head. Light bitter grass flavour has a long herbal aftertaste. Medium body. Good, easy to drink. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

[Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m] Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a huge diminishing fizzy white head. Nice yeasty, floral and herbal aroma along with light hops. Refreshing, tasty flavour is herbal, yeasty and has a hoppy bitter finish. Nice and dry. Average bodied. I really liked this.

2015-06-12. Crisp yellow body with a nice white head fades. 3+ Aroma is floral and grassy. Flavour is relatively dry, pale malt core, lightly alcoholic. Lingering something I can’t place. Average bodied palate, moderate eff carbonation. Decent. Bottle courtesy of Travlr.

Shared with Cindy. Pours a very cloudy orange-light brown with a thick head. Lacing. The aroma is grains, cereal, grass, hay, spices, citrus, and funk. The taste is similar with the unfiltered grains making for a chewy grainy beer, citrus notes, lots of grass and hay, yeasts funks, and some bitter hops. Moderate carbonation, medium body, chewy. Overall pretty good.
