UPDATED: OCT 2, 2020 Bottled, from Biershop Baden-Württemberg. Clear amber,mid sized head. Caramelly nose with some grapefruit and tea. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and bready malt. Some tea and grapefruit. Mid bitter finish.

Pale ale américain de 5,2 % abv, avec malts d'orge et de blé. Mon exemplaire était à 4 mois avant sa date. Couleur ambré soutenu aux reflets cuivrés, et à la clarté nette. Bulles fines, en colonnes droites, lentes. Mousse blanc cassé, crémeuse, stable à 4 mm. Arômes de beau malt cara, mandarine, brugnon, pointe de lichee. 1ère bouche très souple, sur un bel ensemble malt/houblon. Arrière-bouche avec une joie croûte de pain. 2ème bouche un peu plus simple, moins structurée. Arrière-bouche qui s'affadit, mais reste agréable. 3ème qui descend encore un peu l'escalier. Arrière-bouche fruitée, mais sans personnalité. La longueur ne peut redresser la barre, loin s'en faut. Jambes lisses, collantes. Levure très simple. Alcool insuffisant, il panique devant la tâche sur la longueur. Finale basique. CONCLUSION : peu d'américain chez ce pale ale, peut-être même un peu plus d'anglais que prévu … On se limite à peu de choses près à un joli nez (et une belle capsule ..). (7/3/2/3/2)

Korntal-Munchingen. Clear amber with thin white head. Very piney fruity soft chalky, honey, sweetened tea. Light sweet, medium bitter. Under medium body, very nice soft carbonation, minerallike texture. Very nice soft sweet piney pale ale with fine carbonation and minerallike texture.
