UPDATED: JUN 6, 2022 Bottle split at the Watford Tasting, 11/03/22, thanks to LKS. Hazed reddish orange with a faded crimson cap that dissipates to edgework. Nose is tarte berry fruits, cherry stones, funk, damp straw, dusty wood. Taste comprises sharp cherries, funk, damp alleyway, grains, barnyard esters, dry rot. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced acidic kiss. Decent.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2022 18Mar2022 Sour citrus fruits, massive funk, vinous, sweet cherries, cherry jam, wet oak. Hazy brown, small, creamy, off-white head. Light sour and sweet. Sweet, dark cherries, sweet oak, funk, citrus fruits, candied orange, soft carb, full bod. Very nice, balanced. Bottle.

UPDATED: MAR 13, 2022 Bottle. Pours a clear red with a slight amber hue and a near white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of tart cherry and oak with a hint of funk in the finish. Flavor has a great tart cherry with a bit of funk and a good amount of oak backing.

Aroma is semi sweet, peppery funk, musty, waxy, fuzzy plum. Nectarine. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nectarine, brown sugars, nice horsey funk, vinous funk. Palate is semi sweet, tart, highish carbonation

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2022 Bottle shared in Watford - picked up via trade. Bottled in 2014. Pours mostly clear honey-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Lightly sweet with soft fruity notes, cherry accents, restrained acidity, a little wood. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Tart finish, lightly drying, mellow berry notes. Very drinkable stuff overall.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2021 Tavour bottle. Purple color with a one finger pink head. Aroma is huge cherry and bretty notes. Big sweet and tart cherry flavor, bretty funk. Medium plus body, full feel, good carbonation. Nice kriek.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2020 Pours rusty amber with white top. Nose is wood, leather, yeast, red berries and red wine. Taste is sweet cinnamon, oak, barnyard and cherry stone. Dry finnish with long taste. Very different kind of a Kriek.
