COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This years easter beer is a golden ALE. The beer is a single variety hop ale, meaning it is brewed solely with one type of hops. We have chosen BRAMLING CROSS, which is a well known but less used english hop which gives both enough bitterness and lovely aroma.

Vintage 2003 - expired 06/03.
Unclear dark brown color, fine tan head. Full and complex sweet malt and caramel aroma with fruity and spicy notes such as orange, pineapple and clove. Flavor is soft and full. Dark malt and spices dominate with a dry bitterness in the end. Plenty of fruit and citrus also and a woody note, probably from the age. Really nice and complex!

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 8, 2004
Bottled, Stockholm Beer Festival. Ruby brown colour. Citrusy nose along with dishwasher liquid. Stale flavour/mouthfeel - because of the ageing I suppose. Dry bitter, little papery finish.

Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAY 24, 2004
clear ruby-brown colour, little foam, fruity and malty hoppy nose, full-bodied, sweet with a robust bitterness, long bitter flowery finish - balanced and very pleasant

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 3, 2003
Clear brown with hints of ruby. Small white head. Aroma is sweet and earthy with some delicate fruity notes red berries. Odd but good. Fullbodied with good balance of malt; tobacco, strong tea with a hard to define fruitiness. Long earthy and fruity finish with hints of toffee. Not really a traditional easter beer, but I love this one.

fiulijn (28318) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 2, 2003
Hazy brown-amber color. Nice hop and malt aroma. The body is poorer, somehow weak, with some roasted malt, correct bitterness at the end but not enough aromatic.

Transluscent dark amber colored. Sweet, malty, and nutty aroma/flavor. Dry finish.

pilsnerrogge (4377) - Finspång, SWEDEN - APR 15, 2003
Dark amber color. Small but firm head. Malty aroma with a touch of banana. Malty flavor with a long bitter, slightly nutty finish.

Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - APR 15, 2003
Beautiful ruby sparkling color. Very fruity and malty palate with intense, rounded hoppy bitterness. Perhaps, omhper was right about strawberry taste, but there is too much empty space between this strawberry sweetness and Bramling Cross bitterness, to consider this ale great.

omhper (40214) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 3, 2003
Bottled. Dark amber, smallish head. Flowery hop aroma with a hint of strawberries. Very malty, soft and sweet. Wonderfully deep malt character. Full flavoured with balanced bitter finish. This may well be Jämtlands best beer so far.
