COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
(from facebook:) The D.I.Y wet hop is ready for sale tonight at Hako and Erzbierschof Winterthur, it’s the last beer brewed on the old gear, and we used crazy 7kg of our own homegrown cascade hops on 80 liter beer! It comes in 0.75l champagne bottles and there are only 100.
Homegrown Cascade wet hop ale with decent flowery hoppiness; long aftertaste of tea, flowers and lingering notes of quince and yeast.

Bottle at Monday Club Zurich. Unfortunately typical for recent S&A IPAs. Butter and onions over malts and an off bitterness. Men.

First time: Sirupy. Lots of residual sugar. Little to no bitterness. No distinguished fresh cascade hops. Off bottle? Off beer? Happy to try again. Second time: Much better than the first time. Sweetness mellowed. Still a sweet double IPA rather than anything else. I guess this thing still needs some time.

from Erzbierschof - hazy dark amber-orange beer with a solid and long lasting creamy beige foam; nice lacework; a fair flowery hoppiness with notes of caramel and yeast; creamy palate amd medium-bodied, low carbonation and some malt sweetness; a decent flowery hoppiness; long aftertaste of tea, flowers and lingering notes of quince and yeast

Bottle #85 of 100 from Erzbierschof Winterthur. Almost no head; dark, hazy body of amber color. Alcoholic sweet nose with hints of spices. Tiny bubble carbonation, very pleasant mouthfeel and long lasting bitterness in aftertaste. Middle, however, is too watery for my taste especially since the sweet smell falsely promises a more full-bodied taste. Palate includes some hints of caramel, grassy notes and a little vanilla. Sadly lacking any fruity notes expected from cascade hops.
