DIPA with massive malt backbone, hopped with Galena, Chinook, Pacific Jade and Simcoe in the kettle, and two dry hop additions to boot! Massive pine-wood aromas up front with a hint of exotic spice in the background. Big bitterness of 132 IBU’s provides a soft, lingering bite, balanced by the 8.5% ABV.

Thanks to erzengel for sharing!! Pours a slightly hazy golden amber with a light tan head. The smell is sweet fruit, mild citrus. The taste is fruit, tart and bitter with some pine on the ending. Medium body with active carbonation that is finely structured.

Many thanks to Beersiveknown for this bottle. Floral fresh nose, but not too intense. The beer starts fresh and floral with only a bit sweetness in the body. Very nice great floral malty body. Round and smooth with a nice caramel-malty body. Nice smooth sweetish caramel hoppy aftertaste. Round and great!

Draft sampled at The Black Sheep, in Dublin with the family. Pours an orange body with white lacing. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of caramel malt, bitter citrus fruits, lemon, grains, light floral character and pine resin.

500 ml. bottle @ home. Obtained in a trade with tlahav. Thanks! BBF 03.16.2016. Hazy, fluffy & creamy off-white head. Very solid & lovely head. Nose is big very raw & medicinal grapefruit hops, medicinal mango & exotic fruits, very raw, floral & bitter, quite phenolic. Taste is hugely medicinal, huge bitter hospital, extremely bitter pine resin, very bitter plastic, very bitter floral mango, strongly phenolic,… Bitterness lingers and turns to very bitter plaster, big hospital & medicine, crystal malts, very bitter floral,… Hugely raw, faintly grainy,… Pure extreme bitterness, no balance & the bitterness is so medicinal & hospital like,… Plaster & hospital bitterness really lingers in your mouth,… Far too brutal for sadomasochistic hopheads who are all about bitterness and nothing else. Not my cup of tea to be honest.

Bottle, 500 ml. Courtesy of and shared with Miro. Pours dark orange, off-white head. Light fruity aroma. Caramel malty. Hoppy piney heavy bitter flavor with fantastic long aftertaste. You can taste those IBUs all the way. Great one.

Draught from Oslo. Huge DIPA... Fruits on the nose, blood orange and mango. Excellent balance on the palate with a fantastic hoppy finish. Probably the best beer brewed in Ireland as I type this

Certainly the best beer I've had in Ireland. Nice floral, fruity nose. Very smooth IIPA, little sweet but overall a great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample from tap at the Oslo bar, Galway. Hazy amber with white head. Grapefruit, zest, pine and spices. Dry with high bitterness and medium carbonation.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Thanks! Pours unclear, dark gold with a foamy white head. The nose is heavy with minerals and rindy orange. Bitter and minerally flavor, lightly sweet, with oppressive rind notes, some oily pine, grainy bread. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Resinous finish with more orange rind. OK. Perhaps not as fresh as it could be.

One of the best Imperial IPAs I have had outside of America. IT is a deep amber colour, lasting head. Huge complex aroma of exotic fruit (blood orange). Very malty backed by a massive hop infusion. This is extremely well balanced, very palatable and probably the best beer you can buy in Ireland.
