COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
DIPA with massive malt backbone, hopped with Galena, Chinook, Pacific Jade and Simcoe in the kettle, and two dry hop additions to boot! Massive pine-wood aromas up front with a hint of exotic spice in the background. Big bitterness of 132 IBU’s provides a soft, lingering bite, balanced by the 8.5% ABV.

Bottle thanks to Beer’O’Clock Show Steve; shared at Ale House bottle share. Nice fruity aroma. Loads of big prominent hop flavours. Loads of pine and pilth. Aroma and taste is oranges and clementines. Good dryness. Unfined and hazy. Superb! Fantastic aroma.

Very complex flavours, citrus fruit in a big way! Blood orange, a hint of pine and a refreshingly bitter finish!

What a lovely surprise! The aroma hints at fruitiness and the taste delivers! It’s a nice balance of bitterness turning into fruitiness of canned pineapple and a hint of cloudberry. I want to have kids with this beer!

500ml bottle brought back on the plane from Ireland. Damn, this is a good DIPA! Deep hazy orange, poured into a shaker, with a 1-inch white head that lasted almost all the way to the bottom of the glass. Hugely hoppy and bitter, with aromas of citrus, pineapple and pine sap. Malty enough to support the hops, and the ABV of 8.5% adds heat to the finish. I’ve heard this may be the best beer in Ireland - I can believe that. Very, very good.

27.1.2015. Sweetish hoppy aroma with plenty of pine and exotic fruits. Taste is intense with exotic fruits such as passionfruit, pineapple and strong pine. Intense and strong dipa, good one.

La birra si presenta nel suo colore caramello acceso con una schiuma abbondante. L’aroma è resinoso e caramellato. In bocca l’amaro è decisamente troppo aggressivo e toglie il piacere della bevuta. La carbonazione è adeguata.

Number 1 beer in Ireland (according to RateBeer) and the first aroma backs that up. A clear orange with just a tiny head, but the citrus and pine aromas are huge! Great body packs a wallop of hop flavor and bitterness. The bitterness lasts a little too long in the finish although hop heads would totally disagree. These guys have gotten this one right.

Fantastic aroma of sweet mangos, a complex taste with the malt and the hops battling in the mouth. Very smooth, doesn’t taste like 8.5% abv.
