750ml bottle. Pours a pitch black in color and topped by a small, creamy tan colored layer of foam that shows good retention before settling to a thin film and leaving streaks of lace around the glass. The aroma is really nice showing huge notes of rich dark chocolate, fudge, and earthy, roasted coffee giving a nice mocha note followed by hints of vanilla laden oak and sweet rum that are all in harmony. The flavor follows suit with notes of rich dark chocolate, mocha, fudge, and burnt vanilla while the roasted coffee adds ample balancing bitterness followed by notes of sweet rum soaked oak. All the flavors work together perfectly. Full bodied and smooth with soft carbonation that leads to a dark chocolate, vanilla, and smoothly roasted coffee finish with lingering rum soaked oak long after each sip. This took a great base beer to whole other level. Amazing stuff and one of the best beers that CCB has ever done.

Bottle at Solar Eclipse Part 3: The Darkest Hours. It pours opaque black with a creamy dense brown head. The aroma is huge dark malty with load of cocoa, oak, spicy rum, vanilla and coffee. Thick oily palate. The flavour is huge black malty with sweet chocolate, cocoa and vanilla. Sweet oak and light spice. Light salty finish. Absurd complexity. Awesome! Congratz on the 3K Halling!
