Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks tomer. Aroma of stale hops and oxidation (cardboard and a bit of chocolate). Sweet oxidized flavor with a bit of stale hops and faint bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Something went wrong here. The normal Aurea is a fine IPA, lightly bitter with a nice floral aroma. This one? Aroma mostly lost in a stale alcohol nose. Taste is sweet with not levity on the tongue whatsoever. A shame, given how much I normally enjoy the beers from this brewery. Bad yeast? Bad hops? Who knows... bad beer.
