Bottle at James’ 10k tasting. Pours a deep brown to black with a thin white to tan head. Warm roast, cocoa, chocolate. Roast, medium bodied, cocoa. Sweet roast. Long roast and sweet wood and bourbon on the finish.

On tap. Poured a black color with brown edges and a small sized tan head. Wood, vanilla, chocolate, some earth and I would say a trace of bourbon. More wood vs. bourbon. Alcohol hidden with a softer body.

On tap at Uno’s. Very smooth. Can use a little more flavor, but the lactose smooths this out nicely. Light bourbon finish. Its also apparent in the nose. Carbonation could be a little more potent.

Opaque black with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, wood, and bourbon. Taste of roast, vanilla, some cocoa, vanilla, wood and bourbon.

Bottle shared with the epic. Aroma of cocoa and slight oak. Pours black with a nice tan bubbly head. Taste is roast coffee, cocoa, slight chocolate milk, and a sublte woody vanilla oak finish. Barrel aging is subtle enough that this is almost a wasted effort. Pretty much tastes like an expensive version of their regular oatmeal stout...which is good.

Bottle. Black. Sweet vanilla, light bourbon, roasted malt., a little chocolate. Slightly bitter mouthfeel but rich too. Good stuff.

Bottle. Black with a thin khaki head. Aroma is bourbon barrel, vanilla and roasted malt. Taste adds some coffee. Medium mouthfeel and light carb. Long finish. Delicious.

Bottle at weekly share. Pours dark brown. Nose/taste of milk sugar, candy chocolate bar, bourbon, light roast, vanilla and oak. Medium body.

Bottle. Black pour with tan head. Milky, roasted and chocolate aromas. Sweet candy bar, chocolate, sweet caramel, and touch of oak flavors.
