Erzengel (14473) - Saarland & Düsseldorf, GERMANY - DEC 23, 2015
Old rating, on cask at Schumacher Oststr. Smooth nice malty beginning. Not as deep as their normal Alt. Round and smooth with a round and fresh malty dark body. Nice high level of bitterness, intense malty with a not too thin but nice refreshing bitter malty aftertaste.

Tap @ Schumacher Im Goldenen Kessel. Clear amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light buttery. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet finish. 270712

kiwianer (4105) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 29, 2012
Test vom 1.3.2009, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 10,7,6,7,-,7 - 7,15

Dedollewaitor (21467) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 4, 2012
Tap @ Schumacher Stammhaus, Dusseldorf. Pours clear copper with a white head and lacings. Bread, caramel, toffee and yeast. Slightly buttery. Medium bodied.

Koelschtrinker (28835) - Brewver-Town, GERMANY - JUN 9, 2011
Test vom 16.11.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 10,8,9,7,-,7 - 7,78

jonas (14071) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAY 9, 2011
At Schumacher. A tad lighter color than the Alt, same golden cream. Worty aroma, papery flavour, ok spicyness, strangely they choose to dial the hops down too. Dusty finish. After the initial surprise actually quite drinkable.

gnoff (11277) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 16, 2010
Draught at the Schumacher brewpub, on March 13, 2010
Clear dark copepr color, though not as darks as the Alt version. Creamy lasting off-white head. Fruity, herbal, hoppy, bitter, red berry taste. Moussy mouthfeel, edium high bitterness. Frauity and buttery scent.

jfb (8141) - Bamberg, GERMANY - DEC 29, 2009
(draught) clear dark reddish-amber colour with a tall frothy white head. quite skunky aroma of bread and cardboard, with light hints of strawberries, caramel and herbal hops. flavour is flat-out burnt melted butter with a weird pistachio finish. light, watery body with medium carbonation. quite awful.

yespr (55597) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2009
From tap at the brewpub during carneval, madness. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a dense off-white head. Aroma is spiced and baking yeasty. Rather malty brew with a light bitterness and dry bitterness into the finish. Simple and slight watery with a dominant malt baking yeast notes. Very dry and bitter finish.

2.2
Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - MAR 15, 2009
draught at the brewery outlet in Düsseldorf Altstadt - clear copper colour with a light beige foam; nice lace; some earthy and nutty notes, gentle hoppiness; light-bodied and slightly astringent, dry and bitter, quite aggressive but watery; short and quite bland slightly earthy finish - I understand the reluctance of the waiter to serve this
