Cocoa/chocolate aroma, nutty roast malts
Flavor is nutty, roasty chocolate with the sweetness balanced by some roast malt bitterness.
Nice
Mr.Spooks (4978) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 22, 2018Good, with a hefty amount of chocolate notes backed up by modest hints of dark fruits and British yeast. Apple and slight roasted mocha notes perk up on the back end, but also an odd wet bread funk reminiscent of, well, finger paint. Not overpowering, but enough to make me realize the more the pint warms, the less enamored I get. Stays appreciably dry, though, and the creamy texture hides most of the ABV.
