PowY (4562) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - MAR 9, 2023
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2023 3.3.2023: From tap at the brewpub 4.7% ABV. Very hazy pale golden color with a white head. The aroma is lightly fruity with citrus fruits, tangerine, bread, yeasty sourdough, bread, cereals, whole grain bread, some herbal notes and flowery notes. Medium-light to medium body with a medium-light to medium bitterness and a light sweetness. The flavor is medium hoppy with citrus fruits, grapefruit, citrus zest, some stone fruits, bitter herbs, hints of bread and some pale malt in the back. Dries out and becomes more bitter towards the finish. Finishes dry with a lasting medium herbal hop bitterness. Aroma: 7 Appearance: 4 Taste: 7 Palate: 4 Overall: 14

Kurze Review von Untappd: Riecht wie ein Witbier, ist chüschtiger, trocken am Schluss, wie Salbei am hinteren Zungenrand. Fein

Draught at the brewpub
Murky orangey color with compact head. Pungent aroma, fruity, tropical, fresh; more similar to Nelson Sauvin than Mosaic. Dry and lean mouthfeel, it’s a bit too yeasty, but the hopping is huge; the buckwheat is a bit sharp too and adds something to the big spicy character. Piquant final.
Very dirty, but very good, and sessionable; I wish it was cleaner…

draught@brewpub - fully cloudy dark orange beer under a long lasting creamy white foam; nice lace; light yeasty notes yet leaving distinct fruity hoppy notes of berries and pineapple, hints of almonds; quite assertive and with some astringency; dry and long finish, light yeasty again with lingering notes of berries
