Moretum (2122) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - NOV 17, 2023UPDATED: NOV 17, 2023 Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfiger, intensiv nach Basilikum riechender Geruch. Geschmacklich ebenso dominant Basilikum, leicht säuerlich, leicht hopfig.
Parmenion777 (1917) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2023UPDATED: APR 9, 2023 75cl bottled April 2019 - Pours a lightly hazed golden colour with a medium sized, lasting, tight and foamy off-white head. The aroma has lots of basil, tart apple, wood, citrus peel and funk. A herbal and sour taste, lots of basil, funk, wood and tart fruit flavours with a drying tart finish. It's okay but a bit too much basil and that dominates the taste.
alexsdad06 (17935) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 30, 2022UPDATED: JUL 30, 2022 This is a backlog rating from around 2015, from notes @ JungleJim's. I took notes on every beer that I had, but didn't rate most because they were below average to average and my time was better spent with family or work. Technology, or the lack thereof, also contributed to the backlog. Words to describe this beer are tart, funky, fresh basil, herbal, interesting.
nathanvc (5934) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAY 13, 2021UPDATED: MAY 13, 2021 Bottle from Delhaize, bottled 4/2019. Hazy orange, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of basil, thyme, rosemary perhaps, orange peel, mandarin, vinegar, oak wood, cheese, vanilla. Taste has sweet-sour mandarin, lime, orange juice freshness; quite a herbal middle with basil & thyme, some wood, low vinegar and faint funky barnyard. Tart, herbal hoppy finish, woody, some more barnyard and wet grass. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Oddity beer, I appreciate it.

Sammy (19152) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 23, 2021UPDATED: FEB 23, 2021 Fun lambic, basil gives this a spicy peppery balsamic side. Worth trying for interest in seeking a latitude of what lambic is.
