UPDATED: APR 18, 2023 [Bottle (500ml)] My label looks completely different and the abv is 7.9% but this seems to be where to enter it. Pours a dark orange-amber, almost brown, with a large semi-lasting frothy beige head. Some lasting lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted caramel malt, nuts, coffee and chocolate. Nice malty flavour, a bit sweet and fruity, nutty and chocolatey, and finally some light hops in the finish. Average bodied. I quite enjoyed this.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2019 On tap at Svaneke Bryghus restaurant, Denmark. Very sweet, dark brown with a thin beige head. The sweetness in this brew almost makes it good for desserts. The taste is dried fruits, raisins, with a touch of caramel. Long sweet finish.

DraftDodger (7618) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 14, 2017
Copenhagen 14/9 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Usual Svaneke design with a label formed like Bornholm - this time in white and brown. Apparently named after Princess Mary - which is interesting with a ABV of 8,2 %. Pours hazy maroon with small white head. Settles as thin transparent patchy layer of foam. No lacing. Aroma is strong, dark and sweet. Caramel, dark fruit and a solid whiff of alcohol. Medium carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is strongly sweet with a kind of sticky feel to it. Only very light bitterness. Aftertaste is heavy sweet with a light alcoholic after-burn. Quite a heavy sweet Princess with a boozy streak.

Hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Roasted malt, mutty and honey aroma. Taste is sweet almost too swéet with hints of roasted malt, syrup and nuts.
