The " Brasserie Artisanale du Dauphiné " has invented and brews a very unique beer in the world : the Walnut Mandrin. With a deep and dark colour, the Walnut Mandrin is a real tasting beer. Tasting Served warmed (8-12 °C), its incredible taste unveil the subtle flavours of walnuts. Enjoy the finesse of the mossy beer and its bubbles with a "Saint-Marcellin" or a creamy "Bleu du Vercors-Sassenage". Because it doesn’t contain too many alcohol (5,8% vol.), it enables us to enjoy the tasting ... The history of the Mandrin Beer It is the first beer created at the brewery, the only one during two years. " Indeed, The Walnut Mandrin is the result of my passion for good tasting beers. The sweetness of the dried walnut was for me the natural complement searched for my beer from the "Dauphiné". UPDATED: NOV 13, 2020 à la maison. Malgré la quantité certaine de noix réunie pour cette bière, on la sent relativement peu: Un peu au début éventuellement, après le goût se volatilise pour laisser place à une ambrée relativement classique.

Robe ambré sombre, voilée, mousse faible, belle carbo. Nez malté et épicé, la noix se perçoit. En bouche, l'attaque est corpulente et maltée, avec une légère amertume herbacée, mais pas houblonnée. La noix apporte une légère astringence, et le goût, subtil, se sent bien. Original, ne fait pas juste "bière à tel truc" pour le marketing. C'est une bonne surprise, même si on est pas dans un truc exceptionnel. Les saveurs de noix vont bien avec ce genre de bière.

Bue 2 mois avant DLC. Biere ambree avec col de mousse enorme a tenue execeptionnelle. Carbo tres importante. Arome noix tres fort puis leger houblon par la suite. Final sur la noix, le malt grille et le houblon un peu herbacee. Autant amere que acidulee. Gros depot de levure dans le fond de bouteille. Ras. Pas fan des noix dans une biere, la ca passe. Une vraie biere aux noix !

Bottled 750ml. -from Casino supermarket, Alpe d’Huez. Pale amber coloured, big off-white head, mild caramel nutty nose. Moderate malty, caramel, nutty, slightly acidic touch in the finish. Noticable walnut. Not bad.

Along with Yves at his home hazy amber coloured body with an off white head and with a spicy nuts hop aroma a spicy nuts malt herby bitter taste with a bitter finish

Shared with wim at my home. Hazy amber colored beer with small white head and no carbonation visible. Fruited malty aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is sweet bitter dry and taste of nuts. Not bad.

Pours a beige head with cereals aromas. Hazy Amber colored body. Cereals taste and short flat palate.

Bij la ferme a dede in Grenoble. Niet zo mooi bruin, troebel, nauwelijks schuim. Je ruikt inderdaad wel noten, in de smaak ook, maar niet echt sterk, niet echt lekker.

Amertume prononcée qui reste longtemps en bouche. Léger goût de noix qui crée un arôme inhabituel. Pas incroyable mais globalement agréable à boire.

Bottle from supermarket in Samoens, France. Pours hazy amber with a cream head. Nutty citrus aroma. The taste is orange citrus and nut. Spice and perfumy notes too Pretty weird flavour. Not great, but drinkable.
