Tip top.

from la Mise en Bière - very hazy orange beer under a solid creamy foam; nice lace; solid fruity hoppiness of grapefruit and figs; notes of pine needles; full-bodied, creamy palate and with a fair initial sweetness; solid bitterness; very long fruity hoppy finish (peaches, grapefruit), light herbal and piney; some residual sweetness - quite impressive

(330ml bottle from La Mise en Bière, Lausanne) Pours murky pale brownish gold with a moderate lingering white head and lace. Aroma is quite sweetish with light caramel augmenting pomelo, grapefruit, pine needles, a bit floral, a little fresh fig?, fairly fruity and fresh. Palate fairly sweet and fruity at first with peach, pineapple juice, pomegranate, citrus pith, but pine needles and herbal notes along with pomelo rind give a dry but not resinous, moderately bitter finish. The overall character is bright and fruity but with the pine and lightly earthy quality of Columbus. Medium bodied with somewhat effervescent carb. A new brewery with very DIY bottles, but the best Swiss IPA of those I sampled.
