willisread (7331) - Detroit, Michigan, USA - MAY 27, 2018
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2018 Bottle from Detroit suburbs shared at Zack's epic tasting. 2016 bottle. Pours a clearish gold with 2 fingers of foam. Lots of catpiss, grapefruit, dried pineapple and grassy aromas. Smooth with some creamy yogurt notes on the palate with lots of fine carbonation that tingles the palate. More dried citrus, horseblanket, and musty hay with bright dried pineapple. Really solid offering in this series, still holding up well.

balloonbuffoon (1125) - - JAN 13, 2018
16.9floz (500ml) bottle, no date, $4, tulip glass. On the pour a 1.5 finger tops a hazy neon yellow body. It is slow to recede. Yeast is the foremost aroma driver with a leathery funkiness. There is some apricot fruit too in the nose. Tastes like a hoppier than usual sour, which is to say bitterness is mild-medium. Sourness is kind of mild for a sour, but it is there. Flavors of lemon zest, black table pepper, salt, and light touches of soap. A good beer that can be very good for the right moment. It does lack something to make it a truly great beer though.

DrSilverworm (11383) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 8, 2018
4/23/2016 -- from notes: 500ml bottle, from Dutch's. Coded 02516. Clear golden color. Hazy in the last pour with lots of fine particles. Big white head. Fades eventually to a thin amount, leaving good frothy lace. Awesome big pine, lemon, somewhat catty aroma in the nose. Bit of belgian golden aroma in the flavor -- some sweet malt, spicy herbal esters. Good funky lemon citrus. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate sour, nice moderate to bigger bitter hop. Medium to bigger body, mild slick texture, full feel. Lighter, kind of soft creamy carbonation. Awesome simcoe-hopped sour.
