UPDATED: DEC 12, 2017 0.33l bottle from basler feinmesse. pours a very deep, almost black chestnut with a big frothy beige head. aroma of nuts, ash, some coffee and dark fruits. flavour of ash, citrus, nuts, a little bit of coffee. not bad, but not outstanding either; a bit light and sour for a stout imo.
