Nicely bitter, some fruit with spicy/earthy flavors. Nice mouth-feel. It’s a great IPA, but not the absolute best. BarZigKin (91), The Colony, Texas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 31, 2010 22oz bomber. Pours a hazy body topped with a 1-inch off-white head that recedes leaving sticky lacing from top to bottom. Aroma of light malt sweetness and orange/floral hops. Taste is piney, resin, floral, bitter, light sweet, grapefruit and then bitter again. Malt fights to get a foothold vs hops. Bitter, lasting aftertaste. What one of my relatives says "...tastes like carpet..." Hoptacular!! arkurzynski (119), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 31, 2010 Pours orange-golden with thin white head that dissipates. Clear. Nice floral hop aroma invites you in. Straight bitterness, but very clean and crisp and not overly harsh. Malt is present for only a blink. Dry finish. Very good, but I think I prefer the Ruination. This is a very easy drink, though. Makes me wish it was 80 F and sunny and not 22 F like it is now! skmikeg (91), Poway, California, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 30, 2010 Pours a orange amber color with a good sized white head with good lacing. aroma is nice and hoppy with alot of pine resin and citrus. flavor hoppy with alot of pine resin, grapefurit, and lemon. has a mediium body with a nice dry bitter finnis that makes it very drinable for such a great beer. overall, one of the best IPA’s in the world with out a doubt. tykechandler (33), Kentucky, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 28, 2010 12 z bottle, pours a copper hue with a generous off white head. Hops aroma do not overpower, but provide an inviting bouquet. Medium to heavy taste of grapefruit and grass. A solid hoppy bitter finish. Another fine offering from Stone! TLNash886 (151), Idaho, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 25, 2010 12 oz bottle pours murky orange-amber with a good bit of retaining off white head into a tulip. Crisp lemon/grapefruit hops pervade in the aroma, honey and a bready malt sweetness are there as well. More bitter than I thought it would be: loads of bitter hops upfront which blend into a floral bouquet; finishes dry, bready, and slightly sweet with lemon. Nice, soft, frothy mouthfeel with medium body and carbonation level. Highly drinkable and sessionable. Solid IPA. Sabrinic (15), Hometown, Illinois, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 24, 2010 Bottle. Clear golden amber color with a slight light cream frothy head. An easy to drink IPA that is not complex and has a great flavor. Strong hops which give you a tasty dry bitterness.
