Bottle at home from Anstei for European summer santa, cheers andreas!
murky burgundy brown. rich balsamic and damp wood on the nose. Rich, complex, tart, sitting halfway between an acetic oud bruin and lactic red. A little sediment in the bottle elads to a rustic feel. Apples, tart, woody. nice

Koelschtrinker (28835) - Brewver-Town, GERMANY - SEP 21, 2016
Säuerlich spritziger Antrunk, der aber schwächer ist, als es der Geruch andeutet. Leichte Noten von Kirsche und Holz. Fast wässriger Nachhall. 7/8/8/7/9/8

Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is white wine funk, some quince, not so much cherry. Taste is again white wine funk and quince, quite fresh. Overall rather weak in flavour, but it’s nice. Medium carbonation. Nice.

anstei (3818) - SWITZERLAND - JUN 18, 2016
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2017 Bottle from the web shop. Lots of white wine barrel throughout, some sourness, but generally quite weak. Low carbonation, too flat. Some fruitiness. Okay, but really too flat. 7/3/6/3/12=3.1

Rerating after half a year: Bottle with much crisper carbonation, working much much better. Quite nice, but still a little bit thin.

@Brau- und Rauchshop - orange beer, hazy; aroma of quinces and white wine barrel, apricot; low carbonation; full-bodied, sweet and gently sour; aftertase of pears and wood
