UPDATED: DEC 28, 2023 Bottled (from Alko web). Golden colour, white head. Aroma is grassy, floral, some bready and crisp malts to it. Flavour is crisp malts, some bready, grassy herbal and mild earthy tones. Smooth and quite nice.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2023 0.5 l bottle from K-Citymarket Ruoholahti, Helsinki. Golden, clear, big head. Looks great -taste is a decent German Pils in a way that you can actually taste the hops and not just the mineral water bite.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2023 Goldgelb und mit viel sahnigem schneeweißen Schaum begrüßt mich das Ruperti Pils. Die Nase erfasst eine pilstypisch frische, aber eher milde hopfenwürzige und grasige Herbe über etwas zugeknöpfter Malzigkeit. Deckungsgleiches Bild im Antrunk, welcher frisch grasig und zitrusfruchtig in Erscheinung tritt. Erst dahinter lässt sich feines Malz mit einer erfreulich knapp bemessenen Süße ausmachen. Schlank und angenehm feinspritzig ist es gut süffig unterwegs. Der Abgang setzt eine solide Hopfenherbe frei, die 36 IBU werden von der Kette gelassen. Leider kann es den guten Eindruck nicht bis zur Ziellinie retten, denn der Nachgang wirkt erschreckend leer. Aromatisch gehopft, erfrischend und gut süffig vermag das Ruperti Pils durchaus zu gefallen.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2023 Nose. Good malty-hoppy (grass and non-aromatic flowers) Taste. Clean, sweetish malt with pleasant hops and slightly watery body. The aftertaste is noble, hoppy, bitter. Good German Pils, with great hopping!
