UPDATED: DEC 9, 2018 Buddel: Presumably hazy, very dark amber coloured, small and stable tanned foamy layer, moderate nose of roasted malt (presumably with traces of smoke), dried fruits and cacao; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied, creamy MF; lingering dryish bitter-malty and mineralic finish. Not perfect, but pleasant...

Bottled. Very dark brown, offwhite lace, almost no head despite carbonation level. Slight cognac and roast nose. Aroma is rye bread, coffee, very thin. Flavour is dry sweet, Finish is weak. This is like a watered up version of what the label says. Crap.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2018 33cl Bottle @ 3er Tiempo Tienda de Cervezas, Santander, Spain. Dark brown colour with a thin white head. Aroma is roasted malt, smoked ham, hints of chocolate and vanilla. Taste is roasted malt, smoked ham, chocolate, nuts, vanilla. Medium body, average carbonation.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2018 Botella 33 cl en vivalabirra 27.. 04..2018. (r19). Color oscuro turbio con bastante espuma beige persistente. Sabores maltosos tostados con toques de cacaos y suaves cafés con un buen toque ahumado de destaca ligeramente sobre el conjunto. Cuerpo medio poco amargo, suave sensación alcohólica. Buena.

Hazy mahagoni brown. Aroma is smoky hints of vanilla, mineralic, ham, metallic. Taste is sour and bitter nutpeel, very tart and a bit vanilla-y, not so great.

Bottle. Dark brown, offwhite lace. Dry roast, rye bread, dry coffee. Watery salt spring, dry roast. Dry roasted, chocolate, sourdough bread, grainy roast finish. Watery mineral and roast finish.

(bottle) deep brown colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of hazelnuts and grain husks, with lots of popcorn, some yeast and burnt plywood. flavour is mostly herbal hops and yeast, slightly ethanolic, with lots of roasted grain, soy sauce and a light-bitter grassy finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is burnt cow shit, earthy, vanilla, rye. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A bit too mineralic in the aftertaste.
