UPDATED: JAN 4, 2022 Keg at Borefts Day 2 23/09/2017. An opaque black brown coloured pour with a lasting orange tan head. Aroma is creamy maple, milky choc, woody, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, spicy coco, maple, creme caramel, coco. Palate is very sweet, moderate carbonation. rounded, sticky sugars.

Borefts IX, Day 2. Keg. Can, thanks to Maakun. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate semi dry, and with decent fine carbonation. Sweetish dark brown and a very large helping of maple. Tangy fruits and then even more maple. Maybe a touch of honey. Light dry finish. Super maple! Amusing.

Little cloudy dark brown beer, practically no head. Aroma: tonka beans, vanilla, very sweet and sugary impression, cinnamon, lovely stuff! MF: soft to no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: pretty sweet and sugary start, molasses, tonka beans, vanilla, cinnamon, soft roast. Aftertaste: sweet and sugary, more cinnamon, what a lovely dessert beer!

[ Courtesy of Maakun ]. Unclear dark black - red brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, coffee - sweet coffee, chocolate, maple syrup, coconut. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, coconut, maple syrup, chocolate - vanilla, dark malt, coffee. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170923]

Sampled from can/crowler during Borefts 2017, shared by Maakun, thanks a lot! Reddish black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, coffee, vanilla and maple syrup. Rather sweet, malty and moderately roasty taste of milk chocolate, coffee, vanilla and maple syrup, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty!

Sampled from growler can shared by Maakun, thanks! Opaque black color small light brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, loads of maple, slightly coconut-ish, vanilla sweetish. Medium body, soft smooth mouthfeel. Too much maple for me.

uit blik geschonken, zwart met bruine kraag. aroma van koffie, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, chocolade, cacao, zoet. Smaken zijn dik en romig, alcoholisch, zacht ,vanille, redelijke koffie, cacao, chocolade, koffie bonen, volle body, romig, zachte co2, stevig zoet, ja precies wat ik lekker vind. top spul.
