courtesy of Julien Brändli - black beer with a persistent dark beige foam; aroma of wood, tobacco and Bourbon, vanilla and roasted chocolate underneath; full-bodied, thick and potent, some malt sweetness soon overwhelmed by a huge bitterness; grainy with long notes of whisky, cherries and vanilla; lingering roasted chocolate malty tones - a bit harsh and aggressive yet fairly good

Bottle, many thanks derA! Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is earthy, wood, resinous, fresh yeasts, a bit roasty but not too much. Taste is barrel sugar, fresh yeasts, earthy, herbal. Rather high carbonation.

Bottle, courtesy of DerA. Pours black with a fine beige foam. Aroma is bourbon barrel, whisky, booze, wood, some caramel. Body is heavy, with a strong barrel influence, but not as heavy and strong and sweet as others. Oak flavours, earthy, herbal, some booze, some caramel. Strong fizzy carbonation. Sweet but not sticky palate. Surprisingly light for a BBA impy stout. Good.
