UPDATED: FEB 23, 2022 Taste: crisp, dry, a bit grainy, salty, bready with airy finish. Yeast bread, grain nose. Golden hue, crystal clear, tall white head, broken lace. Medium body. The toothy feel but I wondered if this beer aged a bit in transit?

ALLOVATE (3846) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 31, 2021
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2021 Number 9 for Kalea 12 days of Christmas.
Into a Pilsner flute, chilled. Can't tell if misty or suffering from chill haze but it is not bright once settled. Carbonation is medial and it is donned by a creamy inh of shiny white foam that lasts. Light hint of honey atop a bed of rich, toasted, grainy malt, prominent, clean Pilsner malt and dry, earthy and peppery hops. Dominated by malt on the palate. Very clean. Pilsner malt forward. Dry. Body is light. Spritzy in carbonation. A hint of unsalted peanut aids some sunny, grainy pale malts and floods through to an earthy, dusty hop finish. Lengthy malt and hop finish. Not a bad drop. More Dortmunder than delicate Pilsner, but sessionable none the less. Nice!!! (50cL can, BBE 05/2022, Aldi Cannington)
