Jyrsa (1677) - - JUL 30, 2021
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2021 Bottle from the brewery. Strong banana with hints of a darker beer in the nose. A very light wheat beer with medium sweetness and typical slickness of a hefe.

TET (6079) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JUL 26, 2019
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2019 A yellow beer, a small head is white. Aroma has wheat spicyness of clove, some yeast. Taste has wheat, sourness, spicyness, low fruitness of banana. Medium bodied. Good beer, but maybe more fruitness would made this better.

visionthing (7955) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 18, 2018
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2018 On tap at Bryggeri Helsinki, Helsinki. Almost completely clear golden with a modest white head. Fruity and slightly yeasty aroma with wheaty notes and hints of spices. Moderate sweet with a rather noticeable acidity and fruity flavours dominated by not-so-ripe bananas. Fair enough.

Psytron (6700) - Turku, FINLAND - AUG 3, 2017
Tap at SOPP Hki 2017. Smell of wheat, banana and some yeast. Cloudy lemon colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, wheat. Very sweet. Lively but soft carbon. Semi-heavy body. A very good basic weizen.

olsvammel (8493) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 2, 2015
Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2015. Typical hefe-weizen aromas on the nose with foam banana. Similar taste. Clean and crisp. Refreshing and drinkable.

Tap@cph. Yellow hefehazy. Fruity estery nose. Yellow fruits, banana, wheat malty nose. Some, clove, breadyness. Med light bodied. Bit weak in flavour, mouthdrying. Bready, cream malty. Oranges, light lemon. Feels bulk-weisseny.

5.7.2014. Fresh lemon wheat aroma. However, somehow taste is not as fresh. Still decent weizen.

Nocturne (4091) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2014
Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Hazy yellow with a white head. Definitely looks the part. Soft floral aroma. Taste has apple and more floral notes. Not the usual banana and clove combo. The profile differs a little from the guidebook but it works well enough.

thebeertourist (5188) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 30, 2014
On tap at Pikkulintu. Cloudy golden, smallish head. Clove, banana aromas, fruity, hints of dryness towards the finish. Not bad.

0.5 l draught @ Plevna. Well, I was thirsty so this might get a bit biased. Ok, anyway, a great hefeweizen. Everything was there, even the bananas. Years ago I drank my first wheat beer in Plevna. That was a Belgian type wit bier with the cinnamon and citrus, but now the Plevna wheat beer is made in the Bavarian style. And it seems that this summer every other brewery is making its own German hefeweizen in Finland. This is one of the better ones.
