UPDATED: FEB 14, 2024 Pours dark amber/brown with a lacing light tan head. Aroma of toasted grain. Taste has more of that grain, with an odd oily note. Palate has more of that oily note, more graininess. Not bad.

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2023 Słodkie, ale dość mało ciała jak na ekstrakt 16,5 i 6,4 alkoholu. Typowy ciemny słodki mocny lager. Do koźlaka ma trochę dalej, za mało karmelu. Dominującą jest taka słodka nuta coca-coli, przywodząca na myśl piwo Fortuna Czarne.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2023 Bottle from Total Wine, 7%, but his one is the closest looking label. Clear deep amber color, white head. Aroma of boozy burnt caramel. Taste has more booze, toasted caramel malt, lightly bitter finish. OK

UPDATED: JUL 2, 2023 Ruby in color. Low but steady head. Malty aroma with quite strong smell of pharmacy or alcohol. Very sweet, light to medium bitterness level. Thick body, sticky in mouth. Warm on throat.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2022 Darker amber with a white head. Aroma of toasted bread, caramel, light grain, fusel. Light bodied, drinkable amber lager with some fusel. Ok.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2021 Found out of bottle from Auchan in Rybnik, Poland. Pours a dark gold with heavy white foam. Standard malt aroma. Slightly better taste than average for the style.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2021 7% ABV. no nawet niezly ciemny kozlaczek ze Lwowa. piana spora, trwala, barwa ciemno miedziana, aromat kremu orzechowego. w smaku karmel, holenderskie wafle z karmelem, nieco pieczywa, fistaszki, sporo ciala, dobre.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2021 (500ml bottle, 7.0% ABV, Kiev. 29 Apr 2021) (nice looking new label) AROMA: light malt/grain, some wood and sawdust, faint caramel and brown sugar APPEARANCE: solid raw honey amber, nice initial offwhite head but it does fade fast, not super deep/rich in color but clear and decent looking TASTE: not super strong in flavor but pretty good otherwise, good journey of flavors, slightly sweet, caramel, hint of alcohol comes through but not much, some greenness and veggie finishes with some smokey caramel, light linger of fruit/sweet tobacco ... worth sipping and exploring PALATE: sparkly and bright upfront, builds from light to medium body, some creaminess during the second half, leans more toward malt than hops, more of a sweet creamy residual OVERALL: two thumbs up for the nuanced flavors, also a decent looking beer, a bit light feeling for a dunkel bock but that keeps it from being too heavy and more drinkable. other than a tad lacking in nose and body this is a pretty good.
