Cloudyish yellow with thin foam layer. Fresh light malty nose. Fresh rye malty body with a fine but present carbonation and a creamy yet light aggressive mouth feeling. Fresh, calm short aftertaste.

Courtesy of Toni Hutter -- 33cl bottle, bb 2/2014 -- Pours a hazy deep golden color with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit, melon, pineapple amongst grainy notes. Palate grainy, wheat. Solid maltiness, medium to well bodied. Rather high carbonation. Mild grassy bitterness in the aftertaste.

Embrouille (2879) - SWITZERLAND - OCT 8, 2008
Bottled 33cl. Interesting nose with hints of lime, pineapple, plastic, biscuits and pumpkin. Very different. Not all that pleasant at first. Maybe a bit sulphury and grainy. Decent taste with hints of marzipan, lime and pineapple. Medium body. Nicely balanced. This beer reminds somehow of Budweiser Budvar. Good bitterness. Very stylish. Good malt profile. Great bitter finish with hints of lemon peel and hay. A wonderful speciality grain. Deeply pleasant.

Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 5, 2006
courtesy of Matthias Schärer - fully cloudy blond colour, very little foam; moderate aroma of hay and peanuts; solid malt body, effervescent, a touch of acidity and a robust late bitterness; long dry bitter finish with notes of corn and hay - balanced and quite tasty
