UPDATED: JAN 17, 2019 @Thun Craft Beer Festival - hazy dark brown beer with a dark beige foam left; fairly woody with notes of vanilla and cinnamon; very sweet, full-bodied, low carbonation; some alcohol presence in a finish of cinamon, chocolate, wood and earth; some residual sweetness and astringency
From tap at Craft Beer Festival Thun 2018. Nearly black chestnut brown color with a tan colored head. Weirdly enough lots of raspberries in the aroma, chocolate, some vanilla. Medium-full body with a light bitterness, a light sweetness and a light acidity. Flavor of sweet roasted malt along with lightly acidic berries, chocolate, toffee, burnt notes, raspberries, vanilla. Unexpected and a little strange - not sure about this one.
