motelpogo (7695) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 28, 2008
rbesg07 grand tasting, bottled. amber with a modest beige head, thin and fizzy, some mild caramel and then a tinny bitter finish. pretty average

Rciesla (5497) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - SEP 26, 2008
Bottle. Yellow body light head. Pale and malty. Lightly hopped and a little dingy. Eh.

Eyedrinkale (3213) - Astoria, New York, USA - JUL 9, 2008
Bottle found in Pauls fridge. Aroma has a bit of menthol and peppermint. Flavor is LifeSaver-ish, with raw tobacco. Really unique and not in a good way. There’s a good amount of over attenuation and sweat socks.

Ungstrup (51346) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 30, 2008
UPDATED: APR 6, 2008 Bottled at RBESG 2007. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy giving it notes of grass. The flavor is sweet malty, and grassy hoppy, combined with light notes of caramel, leading to a dry and very bitter finish. The body is thin.

TBone (27112) - Pori, FINLAND - OCT 7, 2007
Bottled (BB 03/2008)
Amber color, good beige head, some lace. Very typical Ölands’s nose: fresh cut grass aroma (this time from Galena hops). Flavor is all hops: bitter, watery (too light) malt base. Long cut grassy aftertaste. Too simple to be perfect: it is just hops, hops and hops.

oh6gdx (45088) - Vasa, FINLAND - OCT 3, 2007
Bottled (thanks omhper!). Coppery amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is big grassy and flowery hops along with some balancing up caramel. Flavour is really hoppy, grassy and earthy. A wellbalanced and quite fullbodied beer.

3.2
Rastacouere (6175) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 2, 2007
Hazy copper, 1cm white head. Sharply hoppy, spicey, herbal, floral and highly mineral offering. The aroma is bursting and makes a statement at wanting to showcase hops and caring little about balance. Faded malt character confirms that. Salty, meaty almost in its deployment, still a bit of toastiness can be felt under the brash hops, but you find yourself kinda digging the concept even if you’re not a hophead.

Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 1, 2007
courtesy of Per - clear dark amber colour with a little pale beige foam; good hoppy aroma with a fair load of caramel; a modest malt body, clean palate; a respectable late bitterness introduces a dry bitter and aromatic hoppy finish where more caramelish notes appear

ante (3373) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 30, 2007
Bottled. Pours out in a clear brownish amber colour with rich firm head. Fruity and hoppy aroma of nectarines, flowers and kiwi with notes of burnt rubber. Light-bodied with a strong hop charcter; pine-needles and grass with an metallic edge. Long bitter finish of grass.

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 24, 2007
Bottled. RBESG. Red-brown colour. Full yeast profile here, that is very much Öland. Rich hoppy flavour with high alpha, spiderweb, bitterness. Smoke is sensed too, just like in one or two other beers from Öland.
