degbert (1824) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 10, 2023UPDATED: OCT 10, 2023 Can. Pours an opaque brown-black with a very high, medium grain, sticky tan head. Nose is quite mild, with a sort of Biscoff
note to it. Neither very strong nor very sweet, this is a definite lightweight, almost into ESB territory rather than stout. I cannot taste any hazelnut at all. Slightly sour aftertaste. Drainpour.

phaleslu (16566) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 23, 2021UPDATED: OCT 23, 2021 12 oz. can from DrSilverworm, brought from Arrow Wine & Spirits - Mason. Thanks again, Chris! Pours a deep, dark, nearly opaque brown with a small tan head that settles into a thin ring and spotty island of film. Notes of peanut butter, fudge, hazelnut, dark chocolate, roasted malts, caramel, toasted brown sugar, tobacco, and earth. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a roasty, semi-sweet, earthy, bitter mouthfeel. A little more body and carbonation would go a long way but it's still good.
DrSilverworm (11383) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 15, 2021UPDATED: OCT 15, 2021 12oz can thanks to Phil, canned 9/30/21, drank from the can. Big hazelnut, nutty and earthy, comes off like peanut butter kind of. With the cocoa, flavor is like Nutella. Some caramel syrup. Moderate-plus sweet taste, light bitter. Long nutty and cocoa aftertaste. Medium-plus body, lightly chewy, soft lighter to moderate carbonation, lightly slick. Nice hazelnut cocoa stout.
