2006/8 vintage Deep orange-salmon colour, virtually no head. Fruity, again orange peel, but not much else - some grapefruitlike hops, maybe. Virtually the same taste as the original (non-raspberry) - added fruit is untraceable by me. Sharp MF, slightly better bottled than the IIPA. Misses more fruit to make it different. Merci au Capitaine!
courtesy of Toni Flükiger - hazy dark reddish colour, little persistent pale beige foam; a solid flowery hoppiness is met by fair raspberries notes; hints of cream and apricot in the background; clean palate, medium- to full-bodied and with a moderate and subtle carbonation; finishes sweet and bitter, very long and fruity (raspberries) finish; quite dry - original, interesting and very well-made
