UPDATED: FEB 11, 2024 On tap @... OnTap. Keg kicked in another two short pours. Dull but clear, deep amber, foamy pour. Dry malt, orange bitters, sweet pine, wants to be dry. Taste is aged astringency, touch of caramel sauce, hidden acid, green pepper bite. Lots of subtly for a hot beer. Foamy but half flat. Thick but surprisingly not slimy or very syrupy. Not hot but a delayed fuck up. Surprisingly great.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2023 Pours a clear copper from the bottle with thin bubbly tan ring of foam that dissipates quickly to leave minimal lace. Aroma is big on dark fruit oxidation and sherry, with caramel and toffee malts, light earthiness underneath the booze. Taste is big on the sweetness from the booze and malt, bitterness has faded from oxidized hops but still is present, fairly clean with the abv pretty well hidden considering. Solid beer, for sure.

UPDATED: NOV 3, 2023 32oz crowler at a share. Huge. Pine and honey and booze. Spicy. Wow. This much beer is enough to get a party drunk. Sticky too. 6 3 6 3 11

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2023 Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pour clear copper with thin off white head. Nose caramel, toasted malt, light vanilla. Taste caramel, toffee, light dank, vanilla, then maple syrup and barrel.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2023 Tap at Kool Keg. Slightly hazy rich orange color. Off-white ring of head. Beautiful aroma. Rich, complex. Syrup, brandy, oak, light char, fair sweetness. Flavor is complex as well. Strong oak and bourbon notes. Low sweetness. Brandy character. Has a fair bit of alcohol warmth. Finishes slightly warm. Very good!

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2023 It pours amber on the dark side with an off white head. Head retention is low. It has deep caramel aromas with citrus. There are some orange notes with some nuts and a very low level of molasses. It has caramel favors with citrus and orange. There are some nutty notes with pine and floral as well. It has a full, chewy body with strong alochol warming edging on the hot side. Overall, complex flavors with strong alcohol is nice for one beer.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2023 12 oz bottle. Pours a deep slightly cloudy copper with a small white head. Strong aroma of whiskey, hops and pine. Taste of fresh hops, pine and whiskey. Strong and slightly syrupy. Clears out the sinuses.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2023 12oz bottle from Total Wines & More, Laguna Hills. It's my night cap on 15th July 2023. Drank at my daughters place. What a cracking beer, proper 'sit by the fire and sip' sort of brew. Deep golden body, thin white head, looked lame, but it came alive as soon as I had a sniff and taste. 'Hopsville, Arizona' isn't a place, but if it was this beer would come from there! Loved it. Still never had the regular 120 Minute, but this is just great.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2023 120 Minute IPA Utopias has a thin, off-white head and a translucent, semi-transparent orange appearance, with minimal lacing. The aroma is of rich caramel, dates, prunes, apricot, and white bread crust. The flavor is of those elements, with lots of sweetness and some bitterness. 120 Minute IPA Utopias has a heavy body and a semi-sweet finish. RJT

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2023 12 oz. bottle from Standard Beer shared with Tmoney, from recent notes. Pours a dark golden amber color with a small plus sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted malts, big barrel character, sweet, caramel, the liqueur character is strong with this one, dark ripe fruits, oak, this is a good one to share.
