thome50	3.4 Wooden Legs Pepper Jacked Draft at Wooden Legs on a trip to Sioux Falls visiting friends. Notes: I freaking love pepper/chili beer. I love spicy food. (I know, everyone says that) I can stand a fair amount of spice/heat but am not going to put ghost peppers in mayo just to make it spicy without any flavor. Pours a yellow to orange with a medium to large size white head. Aroma is outstanding. Out of this world awesome pepper aroma. Fresh picked garden peppers with a definite heat to it as even breathing after was like when you are cutting fresh peppers how it gets your nose and eyes a bit. Taste was initially a very nice pepper forward, slightly bready beer. Then the heat took over. Wow. This is hands down the hottest/spiciest beer I’ve ever had. Slight hop resin but that quickly fades as the beer burns the hell out of your throat going down. It really did get to be unpleasant. Overall, I enjoyed the aroma hence the perfect score but I couldn’t bring myself to order even a half pint. Ouch. Tuesday, October 28, 2014
