Pours clear copper with a mod-sized white head. Stable. Settle as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty and toasted odor mingling with a bit of tart fruits. Dark toasted malts, butterscotch, citrus and clementines. Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture. Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate tart bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a bit. 3.7 Mary Rose Premium Red Ale Really i love every single beer from this great microbrewery from athens. They had so many different beers and all are great. Anyway this specific one remind you more one English "Bitter - Premium" beer but with better mouthfeel and more carboration. Really i enjoy the mouthfeel and the carboration that push the beer very good in you stomach. The taste has bittersweet direction and also big caramel amount.
