Reviewed upon request. My request after great stories by ferris. Walnuts, bananas, cloves, chocolate mix of fake banana chips that sat out in the sun and somehow got soft, light dirt, very watery, faint bite. Odd duck this beer.

On tap at the brewpub in Fayetteville, AR. Pours a black body with a finger-width, dense and creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is grainy with some chocolates, roasts, and dark fruits. Flavor is similar. Roasty and grainy with a balanced chocolate malt backing and touches of dark fruits. Finishes dry with a light, earthy bitterness and balanced sweetness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a decent porter. Tanglewood Branch Carter's Folly
On tap at the brewpub in Fayetteville, AR. Pours a black body with a finger-width, frothy and creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a good amount of lacing. Aroma is somewhat ashy roasts, dull floral citruses, lightly sweetened chocolates, and a few caramels. Flavor is better with more florals up front giving off a bit more citrus than the aroma. Some darker chocolates and a light caramel before this finishes fairly roasty with some ash that dries with a medium, earthy bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a decent Black IPA. Pretty well balanced and easy drinking. Not bad.
