4.1 HannoverDunkel First rating 2 liter bügel bottle that I got for Christmas, BB Dec 29, 2010 Sampled on Dec 25, 2010 This one labeled 5.0% ABV Clear daek brwon color, nice looking tan head, going to light brown. Sweet, malty, some banana esters, yeast, fresh, chocolate and coffee scent. Sweet, malty, chocolate, herbal bitter taste that finishes with a long roasted lingering coffee like tone. Very fresh and very nice. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. It’s one of those beers when you’re thinking you need to get your ass to the brewpub to try it again, as well as their other beers. So I think I shall, in the next few days will visit the brewery for some more good beers, yay.
